WHO WE ARE

Formed in May of 1996 by founder Judy Quinlivan and co-founder Chris McCracken, Recycled Critter Rescue (along with many volunteers) have rescued thousands of dogs and cats. These animals were rescued from either a local shelter or off the streets. They were saved from an unhappy existence or an untimely death. After being cared for medically and socially, they were adopted into loving, permanent homes.

OUR MISSION

In 2009, we changed our rescue mission. We are now working directly with Adams County Shelter, assisting them with their cat/kitten foster parent program. We also rescue cats from Adams County when we have room in our cat sanctuary. Our sanctuary is located in the home of our founder and has 25-30 cats at a time. These cats are all up for adoption. You may find them in the "Meet Our Cats" section. If you wish to volunteer in the sanctuary, please check out our "Volunteer section."

Recycled Critter's long term goals continue to be working directly with Adams County Shelter by marketing their animals in a multi-facet way, trying to rescue as many cats and dogs as possible.

We are also constructing an educational program for high-risk elementary schools, teaching the students about spay/neuter and pet responsibility.

You may reach Judy at recycledcritter@msn.com with any questions.
