VOLUNTEER!
RCR has started a new program, taking dogs from Adams County Shelter to different off-site locations, increasing their availability for adoption. We have been very successful so far and we are looking forward to expanding this program.
If you are interested in assisting us with this endeavor, volunteering at our "cat sanctuary" or helping us market the animals at Adams County Shelter, please email Judy at recycledcritter@msn.com.
A little of your spare time can make a difference. Our volunteers are from all ages and
walks of life, and each possesses a unique desire to win the fight against
homeless, starving and abused animals. Your individual talents would be a
welcomed and appreciated addition to our effort. Call us
if you can help in any of the following ways: Fostering cats & kittens Assist in Grant writing Getting animals ready for adoption Working at our adoption center Paper/office work Newsletter Accounting FOSTER Since the need is so great, temporary care facilities for animals is a necessary part of RCR's mission. Being a foster home provider means temporarily caring for an animal in your home until someone adopts the pet. RCR provides food, litter and medical care for the foster animal(s). By fostering animals, RCR can rescue more animals and it provides a rewarding experience for those who have limited time or energy outside the home. Please email Judy at recycledcritter@msn.com for information on the next foster training session.
